Many times I get asked by people with an inquisitive nose on them: what is it you do? Drumming worship?
I know the name sometime can confuse, so I'd like to explain what I do.
A group of people (as small as 4 as big as 20) meets in a room with me and we play games together.
The games are aimed at building confidence as an individuals and in relation to the other members of the group. The games are played mainly in circle and in pairs or smaller groups.
The aim of my work is for people to grow confident of what they are able to do. It can include participants that want to become actors or that just want to try something new as a hobby.
The main point is getting to know oneself by having fun!
It is way to connect with your inner child and with others. Is hard to put down in words is way easier done than said. I guess the best way is to invite you to give it a try.
I worked with specific themes before such as: Migrant Groups, LGBT community, Youth Groups, Adults and Children. The theme may change according to the interest of the group. Some of the recurring ones tend to be: gender roles, work related and parental issues, power structures...
We can explore through our prejudices, fears, prides and shames and become more confident and aware people.
